MP Ted Falk to Continue Work on Employment, Workforce Development and Labour Portfolio with MP John Barlow

September 17, 2018 – Ottawa, Ontario

Ted Falk, Member of Parliament for Provencher, took time to meet with the new Conservative Shadow Minister for Employment, Workforce Development and Labour on Parliament Hill today.

Earlier this month, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer appointed Mr. Barlow to the employment portfolio. Mr. Barlow replaces MP Steven Blaney who has moved over to Canadian Heritage, Official Languages and La Francophonie.

Last September, Mr. Scheer asked Mr. Falk to serve as Deputy Shadow Minister for Employment, Workforce Development and Labour.

“I look forward to working with John as we continue to hold the Liberal government to account on behalf of Canadian workers,” said Falk.

Falk also expressed his appreciation for Mr. Blaney. “I want to thank Steven for his work on this file over the past year. He will serve Canadians equally well in his new role.”
